Group profile Dobbie Services group was commenced in 1996 after Robert Dobbie, the group's founder, recognised the increased complexity of business management and personal finance administration, not only in Australia but internationally, and its customers' "desperation" in managing the risks arising from that complexity . After recruiting personnel with experience gained from working in the Chartered Accounting profession and in a variety of industries, the group recognised that it was well placed to provide a full range of services to its customers.
